Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment based in Cambridge, MA. The 13-week contract starts 11/09/2026 with guaranteed 40 hours per week and rotating 10x4 shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,713 to $2,861.

You will perform a broad range of Diagnostic X-ray procedures, optimize image quality, ensure ALARA safety, and collaborate with radiologists. EPIC EMR experience preferred; RTO requests must be included at submission.

Qualifications

• ARRT (Radiography) certification required at time of submittal.
• Massachusetts radiology license required at submission.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Tech.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association; flu vaccine required during season.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's license with address matching demographics and RTO requested at submission.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic X-ray procedures across within hospital setting.
• Optimize image quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles; monitor equipment and report issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams; assist with OR imaging and site coverage.

• Provide patient care across all ages; communicate procedures and ensure comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of Diagnostic X-ray procedures across inpatient, outpatient, OR (including C-arm), fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, adhering to department protocols and patient safety guidelines
• Optimize image quality through proper positioning, exposure factors, and equipment operation; ensure accurate labeling and documentation
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles for patients and staff; monitor equipment for proper function and report issues
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams; assist with OR imaging and other site coverage as needed while adhering to daily float restrictions
• Document in the EMR (EPIC experience preferred), review images with radiologists, and support timely and accurate reporting
• Provide patient care across all age groups; communicate procedures, ensure comfort and safety, and address patient questions
