Healthforce is seeking a Radiology Tech – CT Tech (Travel) for a 13-week assignment in Canton, GA. Start date 11/16/2026, guaranteed 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Travel position in a hospital imaging department with CT and PET-CT duties.

The role requires CNMT or ARRT CT certification, 2+ years CT/PET-CT imaging experience, and BLS. Travel flexibility is essential. Healthforce provides dedicated assignment support and onboarding through a travel-focused team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program.
• CNMT or PET certification by NMTCB, or ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential; advanced CT certification via ARRT or NMTCB.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and PET-CT scans in a dual-modality workflow.
• Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure comfort and immobilization as required.
• Monitor safety and minimize radiation exposure per ALARA principles.
• Operate CT and PET-CT equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and verify image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff; provide support to the team as assigned.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards; document procedures and transport images.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and, as needed, PET-CT scans in a dual-modality workflow
• Position patients for optimal imaging, ensuring comfort and immobilization as required
• Confirm patient identity and indications; monitor safety and minimize radiation exposure per ALARA principles
• Operate CT and PET-CT equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and verify image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and the full-time technologists; provide support to the imaging team as assigned
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards; document procedures and ensure correct labeling and transport of images
• Participate in holiday coverage: must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s) and one minor holiday
• Maintain charting, patient preparation, and equipment readiness; report any issues to supervision promptly

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program
• Certifications: CNMT or PET certification by NMTCB, or registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist via ARRT; advanced CT certification via ARRT or NMTCB
• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant experience in CT and/or PET-CT imaging
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work in a hospital imaging environment; flexible to travel assignment and the stated schedule
• Note: No local candidates within 50 miles
