Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support at a hospital. The role includes performing angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis and embolization.

Shift is flexible with 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call. Credentialing is expected to take 60–90 days. Start date ASAP, with competitive pay and AMN handling travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

• IR residency and IR fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Experience with angiography, venography, angioplasty and stent placement.
• Ability to perform thrombectomy/thrombolysis and embolization procedures as listed.

• Provide care with 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of call.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Hospital

Procedures: angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization (UAE, GI bleed/TIPS, tumor), IVC filter placement/retrieval, image-guided biopsies, drainage (abscess, biliary, nephrostomy, para/thoracentesis).

Shift/Schedule/Hours: Flexible. 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call

Dates Needed: As soon as possible

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or sufficient experience for the requested procedures.
