Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support at a hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Start ASAP with flexible shifts, including 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call.

Procedures include angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization, IVC filter placement/retrieval, image-guided biopsies, and various drainage procedures. Credentialing typically completes in 60–90 days.

Qualifications

• Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or sufficient experience for the requested procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization (UAE, GI bleed/TIPS, tumor).
• IVC filter placement/retrieval, image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures (abscess, biliary, nephrostomy, para/thoracentesis).
• On-site responsibilities with flexible schedule; 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Job Settings:Hospital
• Modalities:No diagnostic reads. Procedures: angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization (UAE, GI bleed/TIPS, tumor), IVC filter placement/retrieval, image-guided biopsies, drainage (abscess, biliary, nephrostomy, para/thoracentesis).
• Shift/Schedule/Hours:Flexible. 7-day stretch preferred. 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call
• Dates Needed:As soon as possible
• Credentialing Timeframe:60-90 days
• Certifications Required:Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or sufficient experience for the requested procedures.
