Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to perform diagnostic imaging across multiple Illinois locations, including St. Charles and Elgin.

The role involves traveling within the assigned region to complete exams in the order received, with starting pay at $33.50 per hour based on experience and no on-call shifts. Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient prep, radiation safety, and charting in EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated: high school or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or imminent graduation.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and shut down X-ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination order.
• Travel to designated locations to perform X-ray exams per worklist.
• Manage company fleet vehicle duties and logs.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures safely.
• Document procedures in EMR for billing and charting.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when required.
• Coordinate with providers to clarify radiology readings.
