American Traveler has an immediate opening for a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray & Diagnostic Imaging) in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

This travel role offers a highly competitive pay and benefits package and the security of working with an established, Joint Commission-certified agency. Responsibilities include taking radiologic images, preparing patients, and ensuring comfort during procedures in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and medical labs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in radiology settings.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.
• ACLS certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
• Valid ARRT or ARDMS credentials per discipline.
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
• Professional references provided.

Responsibilities

• Take images of patients' bodies using MRIs, ultrasounds, and x-rays to help physicians diagnose and treat patients.
• Work under supervision of a physician and prepare patients for tests, explaining procedures clearly.

Skills

1+ year experience in radiology

Patient communication

Ability to explain procedures to users

Education

BLS Certification (AHA)

ACLS Certification (AHA) preferred

ARRT/ARDMS Credentials

State license/registration if required
