Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Lab Instructor for a radiologic technology education program at an onsite teaching hospital. You will lead hands-on lab sessions and ensure student mastery of radiographic techniques.

The role requires ARRT R(R) certification, CA CRT license, and BLS/CPR. It is an 18-month program with day/evening blocks, typically 40 hours weekly, with potential for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography R(R)
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license
• Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field or equivalent training/experience
• Teaching hospital experience required and noted in employment history
• Applied clinical knowledge of radiographic positioning and patient care
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA, shielding, collimation)
• Familiarity with JRCERT Standards and supervision expectations
• Two professional references from most recent employer

Responsibilities

• Onsite teaching at a hospital education/training center
• Delivers hands-on laboratory instruction for an 18-month radiologic technology program
• Facilitates small-group lab sessions (≈6 students) in Introduction to Patient Care and Introduction to Radiography
• Schedules include daytime and evening blocks Monday–Thursday
• 48 hours per week including class time and prep; full-time possible on request
• May be reassigned within 75+ mile radius based on need
• Uses learning-management and clinical-tracking platforms for instruction and documentation
