Job summary

Acuren is seeking an RT Assistant to support operations in New Castle, DE. This is a callout/travel position, with responsibilities including setting up NDT equipment and assisting radiographers in calibration and testing to identify defects.

Requirements include a high school diploma (some college preferred), a technical background, and the ability to pass drug, alcohol, and background screens. Competitive benefits are offered along with paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.
• Clear driving record to drive company vehicles.
• Trustworthy & reliable per client requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
