Job summary

Acuren is seeking an RT Assistant to support operations in New Castle, DE. This role involves calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluating results for acceptance or rejection according to written instructions.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers, recording inspection results, and performing related tasks. This is a callout/travel position with requirements including a high school diploma and ability to pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations performed per instructions.
• Record results of inspections and maintain traceability.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screens as required by clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and transport equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
