Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking an RT and/or CR NDT Level II Technician to support operations in New Castle, DE. This is a callout/travel position with assignments at multiple sites as needed.

The role requires setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Experience with radiography, CRT or digital readouts, and conductivity meters is preferred; supervision of others may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• Certification as RT Level II and/or CR is required.
• Strong background in NDT methods, procedures, and interpretation of results.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a RT and/or CR NDT Level II Technician to support operations in New Castle, DE. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT and/or CR
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
