Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT registration and 2+ years of experience to deliver Proton and Photon therapy in a hospital Radiation Oncology department.

The position requires Elekta and Mosaiq experience, operating CT simulator and linear accelerator equipment, and delivering prescribed radiation under supervision. Day shift 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with active license and one reference required.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience.
• Active license and one professional reference required for consideration.
• Experience at a comparably sized facility required.
• Elekta and Mosaiq experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and related computer equipment.
• Prepares and applies ionizing radiation per Radiation Oncologist prescription under supervision of Chief and Lead Radiation Therapist.
• Delivers prescribed radiation therapy courses according to departmental protocols with minimal supervision.
• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department seeks both Proton and Photon Therapists.
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
