Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a contract in Boston, MA. This 25-week assignment offers 40 hours per week in a hospital setting, with an 8-hour shift, enabling you to deliver advanced cancer treatments in a patient-centered environment.

Required qualifications include ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy, an accredited degree, active MA license if needed, BLS, and 1–2 years of practice.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active Massachusetts state license, if required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
