Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, ARRT (T) certification, an active NY license (if required), and a BLS certification, with 1–2 years of experience preferred. Start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T) is required.
• Active New York state license, if required by NY.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments while maintaining records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
