Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a hospital setting in Farmington, New Mexico. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week with days shifts, starting ASAP.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT in Radiation Therapy, a degree in Radiation Therapy, an active state license if required, and BLS certification, with 1–2 years of experience. Travel pay ranges weekly from $2,466 to $2,633.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active state license, if required by New Mexico.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
