Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Gastonia, North Carolina. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week in a hospital setting, with dayshifts and ongoing support from SHC.

Qualified candidates will hold an ARRT in Radiation Therapy, possess a degree in Radiation Therapy, be licensed as required by North Carolina, and have BLS plus 1–2 years of experience. Travel roles provide competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active North Carolina license if required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Position patients and operate therapy equipment to deliver treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists and nurses to ensure quality care.
• Provide patient education and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.
