MedPro Healthcare Staffing is looking for a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week position in Holly Springs, North Carolina, with 36-hour work weeks on a night shift. The ideal candidate must hold ARRT certification, CPR certification, and have a minimum of eighteen months of experience in radiation therapy.

This role involves delivering therapeutic doses of radiation and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while providing compassionate care to patients. The job includes benefits such as weekly pay, full coverage of credentialing fees, and group health insurance.

Formación

• Most states require licensure.
• Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients developed with oncologist.
• Establish correct radiation dosage and location.
• Help patients understand and manage side effects of radiation treatment.
• Safely provide the correct radiotherapy treatment to patients.
• Operate medical equipment for radiotherapy.
• Assure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimen.
