Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week Texarkana, TX assignment. Day shift, 8 hours per day, five days a week, onsite.

You will perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures, operate TRUEBEAM/Varian systems, and maintain patient treatment records. Requires MRT/RRT TX licenses, BLS, and EPIC experience; travel and credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires MRT and RRT TX licenses; BLS required.
• Experience with radiation therapy procedures and radiography.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Onsite Texarkana travel for 13 weeks.

Day Shift 8 hours/day 5 days/week

Travel Radiation Therapist
13 weeks
Texarkana , TX
SHIFT: 5 DAYS, 8 HR/DAY
OP and occasional IP patients, 15-20 per machine, 2-3 sims per day
TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, EPIC experience highly preferred

Summary:

Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains, stores and orders supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development and other identified needs
• Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy

Requirements :

• Associate Degree
• MRT License in state of TX
• RRT License in state of TX
• BLS (AHA only)
• RADTH ARRT
