Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Radiation Therapist to perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures using X-rays and radioactive substances. The candidate will operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by physicians and maintain treatment records while preparing operational reports.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy, Texas MRT and RRT licenses, and BLS certification, with experience in TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Current MRT License in the state of Texas.
• RRT License in the state of Texas.
• BLS Certification (AHA only).
• Experience with TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development, and other identified needs.
• Perform all duties related to the administration of prescribed courses of Radiation Therapy.
• Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Current MRT License in the state of Texas.
• RRT License in the state of Texas.
• BLS Certification (AHA only).
• Experience with TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC preferred.

Schedule

This position requires working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day from 08:00 to 16:30.
