Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist to support facilities in Fairbanks, AK. The role involves delivering precise radiation treatments, collaborating with oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure safe patient care.

The contract offers weekly gross pay of $2,876, housing provided, paid training opportunities (remote or in person), and opportunities to network with healthcare leaders while extending your clinical expertise across advanced treatment technologies.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate linear accelerators (LINAC) and related equipment.
• Verify treatment plans and maintain detailed patient treatment records.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
• Provide patient education, comfort, and support throughout the treatment process.
