Job summary

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Alameda, California. The PTA will deliver hands-on care to patients in a SNF setting, focusing on functional mobility and gait training, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

New grads welcome; SNF experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities include treating patients under PT supervision, documenting progress, and coordinating with the PT team;

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program required.
• Active (or pending) state PTA license.
• SNF experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT treatments under supervision of a PT.
• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, and transfers.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to PT.
• Document treatments accurately and timely.
