Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Oakland, California. The role runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, starting 11/09/2026.

New Grad PTAs welcome; SNF experience is a plus but not required. The role emphasizes functional mobility, gait training, and patient interaction, delivering hands-on care to patients in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active (or pending) state PTA license.
• SNF experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT treatments under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, and transfers.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to PT.
• Document treatments accurately and timely.
