Job summary

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a SNF assignment in North Bergen, New Jersey. This 13-week position leads 40 hours per week with day shifts and full travel support.

New grad PTAs are welcome and will deliver hands-on care focused on functional mobility, gait training, and patient interaction in a skilled nursing setting under PT supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active state PTA license (or pending).
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA treatments under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, and transfers.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to PT.
• Document treatments accurately and timely.
