Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Placentia, California. The role is a contract position offering 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift in SNF/LTC settings.

The ideal candidate has an associates degree, PTA license or in licensure process, and CPR certification, and will provide skilled PT services under supervision while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a PTA or in licensure process for PTA/PT.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision of a PT.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patients’ goals.
