You will implement plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and gait training, monitor progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification if required by state regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques to support recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and maximizing independence.
