Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience.
• Must have LTC or Rehab experience.
• PTA license is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism and reliability.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practice.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan.
• Assess patient progress and document in the clinical record.
• Communicate treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Supervise and support students under the PT guidance.
• Document regulatory and clinical information in the electronic system.
• Attend facility meetings and trainings as required.
