The Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) role with Fusion Medical Staffing is a 13-week travel assignment in Eureka, Illinois, working under a Physical Therapist to advance patient mobility and independence. You will perform hands-on exercises, document progress, and participate in discharge planning while collaborating with a clinical team.

Qualified candidates hold an active PTA license in good standing and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under a Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and transfers.
• Record treatment details and progress in the medical record.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
• Coordinate with therapists and other clinicians for patient care.
