Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Canton, IL. You’ll work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• New grads welcome; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and changes in the medical record.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe movements.
• Assist with prescribed exercises, modalities, and transfers.
• Coordinate with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain infection control and a safe treatment environment.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care.
