Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a SNF/LTC on a contract assignment, under supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will provide skilled PT services and help patients improve mobility and reduce pain as part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree, current PTA license or in licensure process, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associate degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a PTA or in licensure process.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans per physician orders.
• Utilize modalities such as massage, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths and ultrasound.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
