Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers is partnering with Towne U.S. LLC to place a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Monroe, Michigan. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work under a licensed PT, helping patients regain mobility and independence across diverse assignments nationwide.

You will join a supportive team, receive housing and travel stipends, and enjoy flexible locations every 13 weeks while advancing your clinical skills in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the practice state or eligible for multi-state licensure (licensing assistance available).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical PTA experience preferred; new grads with strong skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist implementation of individualized PTA treatment plans under supervision.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to the supervising PT.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
