Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers is partnering with Towne U.S. LLC to place a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Paterson, New Jersey. This 13-week contract offers weekly pay and the opportunity to travel to new clinical settings while supporting patients under the supervision of a licensed PT.

You will assist in implementing treatment plans, help patients perform exercises, monitor progress, and educate patients and caregivers. An associate degree and PTA license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice or eligible in multiple states.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome with strong skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervising PT.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting to the PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment and assist with patient mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient-centered care.
