Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers is placing a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Edison, New Jersey, for a 13-week contract through Towne U.S. LLC. The role offers a weekly pay rate and the opportunity to rotate to different locations every 13 weeks, with housing and travel stipends provided.

You will work under a supervising PT to help patients regain mobility and independence. Qualified candidates have an accredited PTA program degree, an active PTA license (or multi-state eligibility), and at least 1

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure in multiple states (licensing assistance available).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical PTA experience preferred; new grads with strong skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the PT.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment by maintaining equipment and assisting with patient mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
