Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week assignment in Bowie, Maryland. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, improve mobility, and support patient independence across settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license per state rules.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/AHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas, ensuring devices are calibrated and ready.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and provide hands-on Assistance with moves.
• Observe performance, document progress, and report concerns to the supervising PT.
• Document treatment details accurately in the medical record.
