Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. The PTA will work under supervision to implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, and support patient mobility and independence in various clinical settings.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, educating patients on home programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas for patient sessions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities with hands-on assistance.
• Record patient treatment details and progress in the medical record.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
