Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Ottawa, Illinois. This travel position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift (8 hours), and a chance to work under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility.

Compensation includes competitive weekly pay, housing and travel stipends, and ongoing support as you explore new locations. Relevant PTA credentials and licensure are required or eligible, with licensing assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license or eligibility for licensure in multiple states (licensing assistance provided).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to travel routinely for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing PT treatment plans under supervising PT.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report updates to the PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
