Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Terrell, Texas. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans that improve mobility and independence, document progress, and educate patients on home programs.

Required qualifications include a Texas PTA license and current BLS certification. Preferred: graduate from accredited PTA program and experience, with benefits and support for travel

Qualifications

• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Document patient progress in medical records and report changes to the PT.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
