Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oxnard, CA. This travel opportunity offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across hospital, clinic, and rehab settings, using evidence-based plans and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain. Strong clinical skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and self-management strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols.
