Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oxnard, California. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for varied patient populations in the acute care setting.

The role requires 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS certification, and state licensing. Travel stipends and 12-hour shifts are part of the package, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have a California Physical Therapist license and BLS certification.
• 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred in acute care.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and perform mobility-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within setting under facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel for plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use medical center IT systems and document per guidelines.
