Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a skilled Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Newark, CA. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized rehab plans, and implement evidence-based treatments in hospital or clinical settings.

Start date 09/28/2026 with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift. Eligible candidates hold a valid PT license, current BLS, and preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Implement therapy treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
