Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role offers 40 hours per week and days shifts, with a focus on delivering evidence-based care in a travel setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid PT license, current BLS, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Travel experience is a plus, with comprehensive benefits and support from our clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• New grads welcome; PT experience valued but not required.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and self-management strategies.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions.
