Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. The PT will work 40 hours per week for 13 weeks, with 8-hour daytime shifts, and will be part of a travel assignment.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience; exceptional candidates with relevant background may be considered with 6 months. BLS and state licensing are required to begin assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Comply with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems daily.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
