Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Duluth, GA. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement a plan of care, and work with a team to ensure quality care in the acute setting.

The role requires 6 months of experience (6 months-1 year preferred), BLS, and state licensure. Travel, 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, days shift, EHR documentation, and collaboration with medical staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Must have state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand and apply adaptive equipment where needed.
• Evaluate and adjust the plan of care as patient conditions change.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation compliant with state and insurance guidelines.
