Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a dynamic clinical team supporting your professional growth.

The therapist will evaluate and treat patients across hospitals and clinics, delivering evidence-based care and patient education while navigating the unique needs of travel assignments. This position emphasizes safety, collaboration, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Physical Therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
