Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.

The assignment is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8-hour days. The ideal candidate has 6–12 months of PT experience, BLS, and state licensing. Travel experience is preferred; new grads may be considered. Collaboration with Medical Center staff is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; for exceptional candidates with relevant background, 6 months may be accepted.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and assess patient needs.
• Evaluate and create and modify plan of care as indicated by patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and document timely and accurate records per state/insurance guidelines.
