Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Atlanta, GA. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, supervise PTAs, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure a team-centered plan of care.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (6 months may be waived for exceptional candidates), BLS and state licensing. Ability to stand/walk for long periods, knowledge of anatomy/physiology/pathology, and prompt

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk long periods, bend/stoop as needed.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/modify the plan of care as needed.
• Use center computer systems and document per guidelines.
