Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lincoln, IL. The role requires 1 year of experience preferably, with 6 months acceptable for strong candidates. Expect 40 hours per week, 8-hour days in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and executing care plans, and supervising staff. BLS and state licensure are required; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification required; state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and comprehend anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with physicians to ensure team-based care.
• Document per state/insurance guidelines.
• Utilize medical center systems for daily tasks.
• Modify plans of care as patient progresses.
