Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Wood River, Illinois. The PT will evaluate patients in acute care, develop and execute a plan of care, and supervise support staff as needed.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS, and state licensing. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, days shift, with weekly pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure team plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and create/modify plan of care as needed.
• Document timely and accurately per state/insurance guidelines.
