Qualifications

• Current BLS-AHA certification required.
• MN state PT license required (license required if applicable).
• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Valid driver's license may be required when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Physical Therapy unit.
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• No call required and weekends not required.
• Potential to work holidays.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
• Documents patient information for evaluation and analyzes therapeutic progress, recommending adjustments as needed.
• Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Must follow departmental documentation guidelines and all regulatory requirements.
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
• Local candidates may be accepted within an 80-mile radius of the facility.
• Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
