Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in York, PA. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing plans of care in an acute care setting, with 35 hours weekly and 7-hour shifts, requiring supervision of staff and compliance with state regulations.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of PT experience, BLS certification, and PA licensure, with the flexibility to travel and adapt to hospital systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PT experience preferred; 6 months required.
• Active BLS and PA state licensure are required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians on the plan of care.
• Assess patient needs and adapt plan of care.
• Utilize adaptive equipment as needed.
• Record care plans and progress accurately in systems.
• Maintain timely documentation per guidelines.
