Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Red Bud, Illinois. The PT will work 40 hours per week in an acute care setting, with a dayshift schedule and a focus on developing and executing a comprehensive plan of care.

Ideal candidates bring 6–12 months of relevant PT experience, active BLS certification, and state licensing. The role includes responsibilities such as supervising PTAs, billing, and collaborating with medical staff to optimize patient

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• 1 year of experience preferred, 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to support team-based care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modalities used in therapy.
• Document accurately per state and insurance requirements.
