Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Sterling, Virginia. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care in the acute setting, with an 8-hour day shift and a 40-hour work week over the 13-week engagement.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience, with new grads encouraged to apply. Must hold BLS and state-specific license. This travel role includes a tax-free stipend portion and ongoing documentation per facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff; assist with billing.
• Interface with physicians and hospital staff to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Document care and adhere to state and payer guidelines.
